On March 5, 2021, the United States and European Union agreed to a four-month suspension of the retaliatory tariffs that had been imposed on both sides pursuant to the long running Airbus-Boeing dispute. The suspension will cover all tariffs including aircrafts and consumer products and will become effective as soon as internal procedures on both sides are completed. As yet, there is no indication of how long it will be before the suspension of duties takes effect.
